Made of heat-treated North American steel with a tensile strength of 150,000 psi, the bar is tough enough for intense training. It has a split sleeve design, which avoids sleeve loosening over bolt-style sleeves common in lower-end bars. A center knurl provides extra grip on lifts, such as squats and lunges. With a 1500 lb weight capacity, this Olympic bar is perfect for squats, bench presses, and Olympic lifts.
