The fold-away counterbalance knee pad enables users to determine how much weight to remove from their body to perform high-difficulty dips and pull-ups. Unlike other weight machines, when the user selects a weight amount from the 200 lb weight stack, the machine removes that weight from the user's body weight during the exercise. This reduced body weight enables lower fitness level users to perform these practical but challenging strength training exercises. The knee pad can fold away to allow users to perform dips and pull-ups without counterbalanced weight assistance from the machine.

The TKO Assisted Pull-Up Dip Machine has an ABS plastic weight stack shroud that protects from moving components. It also features a multi-grip pull-up bar, two-width selection dip bars, self-lubricating pulleys, and 3100 lb load-rated cables.
