Shipping Policy

Shipping Overview:

  • Items ordered from different manufacturers will arrive as separate shipments.
  • Free shipping items pertain to the lower 48 United States only.
  • Delivery times posted on product pages are estimates based on average performance.

Guidelines for Accepting Freight Deliveries:

When receiving items shipped via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) Freight from our site, please follow these important guidelines to ensure a smooth delivery process:

  1. Delivery Process and Location:
    • Items shipped via freight carrier will arrive either on a wooden pallet or enclosed in a wooden crate.
    • Deliveries are made curbside unless a loading dock is available.
    • The delivery location must be accessible for a tractor-trailer. Restrictions like long rural driveways, cul-de-sacs, or dead-end streets will be determined by the truck driver’s discretion.
  2. Customer Responsibilities:
    • Customers must be present at the time of delivery to sign the delivery receipt.
    • Lift gate service, which lowers products to the ground, may be optional or included based on the product's delivery description. If not included, it can be added for an extra charge.
    • A 24-hour delivery notification by phone is typically provided for all freight deliveries.
    • Deliveries are made during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, usually between 8 AM and 5 PM. The delivery window is generally 2-3 hours.
  3. Important Delivery Notes:
    • If a product arrives damaged, note the damages on the delivery receipt before signing. Signing without damage notations implies the product arrived in acceptable condition. Failure to note damages may lead to a denied claim by the freight company.
    • If items are clearly damaged upon arrival, refuse the shipment. You will not be charged extra for refusing damaged freight.
    • Before signing for delivery, ensure the shipment box count matches the count on the delivery receipt. Note any shortages before signing.
    • Report any damages to Gtech Fitness® within 3 days of receiving your product to file a claim on your behalf.

Please note that Gtech Fitness® uses third-party freight companies for deliveries. These companies do not represent Gtech Fitness® directly, and their policies and actions are beyond our control. To fully protect your interests, please adhere strictly to these guidelines.

Freight Company Storage Fees:

The customer is responsible for freight company storage fees if the customer is unable to accept delivery of the order. If the customer is unwilling to pay freight company storage fees and is unable to accept delivery of the order, the order will be sent back to the manufacturer. The customer will be responsible for original freight cost to them, freight cost shipping back to the manufacturer and manufacturer restocking fees.

Rural Deliveries and Cul De Sac Deliveries:

Freight companies will not drive on residential driveways or cul de sac roadways. Freight companies can typically only deliver to the closest intersecting road that is large enough to accommodate a tractor trailer freight truck. In some cases, the freight company may ask the customer to meet at a neutral location or parking lot large enough to accommodate the delivery truck. Customers in rural areas or on cul de sac roads will often need to unpack items at the delivery point and take them piece by piece in their own vehicle or pickup truck to the final destination.

Customers that refuse delivery based on the aforementioned limitations will be charged return shipping fees, restocking fees, as well as, the shipping fees Gtech Fitness® initially incurred to get the product to you with our free shipping promotion.

Shipping to Contiguous U.S. Islands and Certain Rural Areas:

Due to the added expense of shipping to contiguous United States islands and certain rural areas, Gtech Fitness® reserves the right to request additional funds for shipping to these locations from the customer or cancel the order outright. We will always do our best to ship to these locations without any added expense to our customers, but in certain cases, shipping to these locations is far more expensive than shipping to the rest of the United States and, at times, we are not able to bear the added cost in our free shipping prices.

International Shipping:

Gtech Fitness® only ships to the 48 contiguous United States. For shipping outside of the 48 contiguous United States, the customer will need to supply their own freight forwarding company that has a ship to location within the 48 contiguous United States so that the freight forwarding company can handle your forwarding needs from that location.

Please note, Gtech Fitness® can only work with warranty and manufacturer defects on products shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. If an item needs to be returned due to warranty claims or manufacturer defects, international customers must return the item to the original ship to location stated on the original Gtech Fitness® order that is within the contiguous 48 United States at their expense.
